Postnatal yoga

And then your life is different! A pregnancy, a birth and a new life with your child are major events that cause many changes physically and mentally.


In the Postnatal yoga class, the yoga postures and exercises are especially for women who have recently given birth. The lesson helps you to release physical, mental and emotional tension and find a new balance. Give your body attention again, relax and let the energy flow again, but also to strenghten and 'bring together' again by safely activating your abdomen, back and pelvic floor muscles. In the lesson we combine hatha yoga postures, muscle-strenghening exercises, breathing techneques, mindfulness and 'restorative'yoga, to ultimately achieve deep relaxation.

 

Postnatal yoga guarantees real time for yourself and with yourself, something that you as a new and/or working mother may need. This lesson is without babies so that you can spend time on yourself, relax and find a new balance as a (new) mom. You feel stronger and more vital and you will get to rest and relaxation.

 

When can you participate

You are welcome from about 4 weeks after your birth and you can start at any time.

It is accessible to every mother, experien who has just given birth, experience with yoga is not required. If you want to continue with the weekly classes after postnatal yoga, you can move on to Mama flow yoga.
